In response to demand for a positioner with greater capacity than Roto-Star I, Starley developed the Roto-Star III. With its 8" 3-jaw self-centering chuck, it will accept parts of virtually any length through its 2½" spindle hole. Larger diameter parts not extending through the spindle can be accepted up to 4½" outside diameter, or by reversing the jaws, up to 9¼" O.D. Parts may also be held by the I.D., up to 10¾".
